One-Off Workshops
We are able to provide 'one-off' projects that can be delivered as workshops for all skill levels, ranging from complete beginners to more experienced students. All students can take home and keep what they make, resulting in a great sense of pride and achievement all round. Tools and equipment for the workshop are all provided, eliminating any additional equipment purchases on your behalf, and we are regularly increasing our range of workshop equipment to allow students to undertake a wider range of activities that the course can provide for. Half-day workshop prices start from £75.00 plus materials for a three hour workshop and up to ten learners. Please contact me for further information or a quote to meet your specific requirements. Daytime/Evening ClassesOur Tutors are qualified and experienced to provide adult evening or daytime classes at a time to suit you, and possess our own curriculum that can be tailored to meet the needs of you as a client, and of your learners. Evening classes can be arranged by the hour, with the minimum recommended session being two hours. Prices for evening classes start from £30.00 per hour. Please contact me for further information or a quote for specific requirements. |
Schools / Special Workshops
Teesside Silversmith offers a comprehensive set of Art and Technology based activities and projects, suitable for Schools and Colleges, and we are fully equipped with course materials to support them. Through our specially designed projects and supporting documentation, we endeavour to keep younger students interested in the projects we provide, and to offer engaging activities to challenge students in a variety of key skills areas while geared to subjects including Art and Design, History and Technology. Our projects will be tailored to suit the capabilities and ages of your students, only bringing in the more demanding activities for older students while still allowing younger students to make an item that they can take home and cherish. School visits can be arranged in half days, with prices starting from £75.00 plus materials for three hours and up to ten students. You should arrange for a teacher to be present at all times. They are welcome to take an active part in the activities! Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your requirements and request a quote or arrange a booking. Home-Based WorkshopsIf you have difficulty attending an evening or daytime class or workshop, but are still keen to take up jewellery making or silversmithing as a hobby, and know other people that are also interested, you can organise for a workshop to be delivered in your own home. A number of projects are available to choose from, and the cost of the materials are included in the price quoted for a workshop. Please feel very welcome to contact me to discuss your requirements. |
Please note that we may need to inspect your premises before delivering a workshop or class to ensure that the available space is suitable.
Materials
The price of sterling silver and other materials used in the delivery of our workshops and classes fluctuates on a daily basis with the market. We will invoice for materials based on a price calculated from the market price on the day of delivery.
Material costs for evening classes are typically borne by the students attending, and we provide a sale-by-weight service during the class, calculated on market prices on that day.
CRB Checks
We regret that the cost of any CRB checks required must be borne by the employer, and these will be met with full co-operation on our behalf.
